Warwick + Radcliffe pharmacy is an independent, family run business based in the historic and beautiful East Sussex village of Herstmonceux. The pharmacy is located in a state of the art, purpose built green-build premises adjacent to the Herstmonceux Integrative Health Centre, which is another impressive building. Internally, the pharmacy is designed to portray a clean, clinical, calm and minimalist working environment – beautiful to look at, but very practical and much more akin to a continental pharmacy.

Our lead pharmacist has 30-years of post-qualification experience and is ably supported by diligent and hard-working technicians, dispensers and medicines counter assistants.
We can provide chlamydia testing kits to people under the age of 25, for example when supplying emergency hormonal contraception. Advice on how to use the kit, how to return it for testing and what will happen following completion of the test will be provided. Our fully trained Pharmacist and pharmacy staff can provide support and advice to people accessing the service, including advice on safe sex, condom use and advice on the use of regular contraceptive methods, when required.
We continually look at our services and the quality of our services to you. We analyse and improve these by trying to create an environment where pharmacists and pharmacy staff can give you the best possible pharmaceutical care. An annual patient satisfaction survey is used to get honest feedback about how you feel we are doing and where we can improve.
We can dispense your NHS and private prescriptions for you. Information and advice will be offered to you, to help you (and carers) use your medicines safely and effectively. We will also keep appropriate records. We keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly.
We can supply medical appliances and offer information and clinical advice if you use any of the following appliances: certain catheter appliances, tracheostomy and laryngectomy appliances; anal irrigation systems; a vacuum pump or constrictor ring for erectile dysfunction, wound drainage pouches, incontinence appliances and stoma appliances. We can also deliver it to your home at a convenient time to you.
If you are unable to contact your doctor, or in an emergency situation, we may be able to help with the supply of medicines. Genuine emergencies include out of hours, closed GP surgeries etc. We will require proof or evidence of the medication you may need and you may incur a non-refundable charge. We can collect your prescription and have it ready for you to collect from the pharmacy when it is convenient for you. We can also deliver it to your door if you cannot collect it in the pharmacy. Please ask one of our pharmacy staff for more details and sign up to the service today.

When you are prescribed a new medicine by your doctor our pharmacists can offer support and advice to ensure you take the new medication as prescribed without suffering any unwanted side effects or explain any further questions you may have. We usually do this by keeping in contact with you during the first 4 weeks of your new medicine being prescribed.

Beginning in the early to mid 40s many adults may start to have problems seeing clearly reading, especially when working on a computer. Initially, you may need to hold reading materials further away to see them clearly. Print on newspapers or on restaurant menus may appear blurred, especially in dim lighting. This is caused by the eyes lens becoming less flexible with age and these changes will progress with time.

If you use regular medication, and get it on Repeat Dispensing, we can manage and dispense these prescriptions for you as agreed with your GP. The Pharmacist will also discuss the use of your medication with you at the point of dispensing and inform your GP about any clinical significant issues.
